Thessaloniki Court of Appeal Overturns Ruling: Mother Did Not Obstruct Communication with the Child
The Three-Member Thessaloniki Court of Appeal rejected a damages lawsuit filed by a father against his ex-wife and her father in its entirety. Ruling on the merits, the Court of Appeal found that the difficulties in the video calls were due to the child's age and hearing condition, not to any actions by the mother.
Complaint against mother dismissed by the Public Prosecutor's Office. Child's refusal to communicate found to be voluntary
The 11-year-old boy's negative attitude was linked to the father's own long-term behavior and inconsistency, such as absences from birthdays, celebrations, and sports activities.
